This award is so very special to us in the Extension Office. Les Daigle was the epitome of leadership and giving back to his community. Les devoted his time to serve on many boards and committees such as Leadership Advisory Board, Ag Committee and many more. He loved giving back to the town and community he grew up in. Not only did he serve on our boards and committees he was involved in many more organizations in Orange County. He loved working with the kids in 4-H and wanted to make sure they had the tools and resources they needed to succeed in life. He was a huge asset to the AgriLife office, and he is greatly missed by us and our 4-H kids.

This award recognizes an outstanding volunteer whose unselfish and dedicated service to Texas A&M AgriLife Extension programs have made a significant difference with our programs and the community.   They must have shown true leadership skills to help keep our programs progressing with the needs of the community.
